Calculation of rate constants for linear three-compartment open models
Abstract
This paper gives calculating formula of the rate constants for linear parallel or serial three-compartment open models with bo/us iv injection or constant rate iv infusion or first order absorption where elimination may occur from any one compartment. These formulae are of convenience for programming on computers or programmable calculators. The idea of derivation applies to general linear compartment models.
