Modified fluorimetric method for plasma epinephrine and norepinephrine determination
Abstract
Fluorimetric methods were modified by an increase in amounts of the eluants, alumina, Amberlite resin, the use of larger quartz cells, the selection of “ratio” measurement and fluorimetric value if samples corrected by reagent blank. The modified fluorimetric method requires 2 ml of plasma for assay of NE or E with a sensitivity of 25 pg/ml. This method is less laborious and less expensive as compared with the radio-enzymatic method.
