The June 2011 special issue of APS (Acta Pharmacologica Sinica) on channelopathy and drug discovery assembles a series of review articles, original research contributions from the scientists from China, United States, United Kingdom, and Canada in the fields of channelopathies to provide the most up-to-date information on our understanding of the mechanisms of aquaporin and Cl– channelopathies and related new strategies and targets for drug discovery.
