According to the latest Journal of Citation Report (2004 JCR) published by Institute for Scientific Information, we are greatly pleased to announce that the 2004 Science Citation Index (SCI) Impact Factor of Acta Pharmacologica Sinica (APS) has risen from 0.884 to 1.125, ranked the 132th out of 187 journals in the category of PHARMACOLOGY & PHARMACY, the 49 th out of 125 journals in the category of CHEMISTRY, MULTIDISCIPLINARY. APS is continued to be the only journal listed in the SCI in Chinese Pharmacology and Pharmacy and ranked the 8 th out of 71 Chinese journals listed in SCI.
