Announcement Of New Partnership With The Blackwell Publishing

In a new collaboration with the Blackwell Publishing, the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Chinese Pharmacological Society, are pleased to announce a new publishing partnership.

As of December 2004 Blackwell will begin publication of the Acta Pharmacologica Sinica (APS), the official journal of the Chinese Pharmacological Society and Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Edited by Academician Kai-xian CHEN, APS endeavors to promote pharmacological research and aims to become an international journal of great influence in life sciences. APS publishes original researches and reviews on all aspects of pharmacological science, both experimental and clinical, from any part of the world.

APS is published monthly in English, and is circulated to subscribers worldwide. The Journal has an ISI Impact Factor of 0.884 (2003) and is ranked the 77th in the 188 journals in SCI Pharmacology and Pharmacy category, and the 41st in the 119 journals in Chemistry & Multidisciplinary. Both Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica and Blackwell Publishing are excited to be entering the new partnership, and are committed to the future of the Acta Pharmacologica Sinica.
