	abstract = {Atrial fibrillation (flutter) was induced by iv CaCl2-ACh in 73 of 80 mice (91%). Quinidine showed a significant protection. Verapamil, propranolol and diphenylhydantoin gave some protection when they were iv at the doses of about 1/2 LD50. Lidocaine had negligible effects. This procedure may be used for screening of drugs for the advantages of low cost, simple techniques and definite end points.},
