Cover: Meptazinol is obviously devoid of noxious side effects such as respiratory depression and addiction, although both enantiomers were believed to be selective mu opiods agonists, an analgesic pharmacophore was established by extracting mean parameters from crystal structures of nine opiates. And enantiomers of meptazinol were superimposed respectively to this pharmacophore to find their similarity and difference ( page 334-348)
